Hey there! How's it going? Long time no see, huh? What's been going on? How have you been feeling? What's new? Have you been keeping out of mischief? No way! You didn't did you? As if... You did? Wow! That's amazing. Cool! Good on you! Well done. Okay then, well I'll see you soon, we'll have to catch up again. Yeah? Cool. No worries. Sure, sure. Give me a call.
I guess it's been a little while since my last post. At least it feels like a little while. I think that the last one was back there in March, and this is now April, so that's not all that long ago, but there's been a bit happening. I don't think that I'll be able to remember everything that's happened, so I won't try to. I'll just put in the parts that I know happened, I won't make any of this stuff up.
Ah, I know that I definately had a stupidly good steak the other night at the Story Bridge Hotel. It was amazing. Even though it was over a week ago, it's still making my mouth water. It wasn't just the meat, but what accompanied it as well. There was some mash, some mush. Mmmmm. Juicy.
That night I also managed to get pretty drunk, surprise surprise. I bumped into a father I know from the centre. He was on the prowl. He was also showing off his new purchase, a Porsche. He wasn't going to tell his recently separated wife about it, but I'm not sure how that went for him. He knew I was getting pretty drunk. Towards the end of the night I'm pretty sure I was starting to make less and less sense, but I wasn't concerned. I had big plans for when I got home that night, but then decided that discretion was the better part of valour, so I went to bed.
The next day was a bit of a shemozzle and I apologise to those out there who's feelings I hurt. Sorry. I'm not going to make any excuses because I am just lame sometimes.
That night I was back on track again, which was just as well because I had some things I needed to do. A friend of mine, Sarah, was back from the UK and Saturday night was the night to see her and her boyfriend, Simon, before they moved down to live in Melbourne. I went for dinner up at Sarah's house and had another beautiful steak with a fantastic fresh salad. This steak was terrific and thick and wonderful. I was pretty lucky with the steaks last weekend.
After dinner we headed into the Valley. We went to a bar I've been to a few times before, a bar that I don't particularly think is the greatest. I still don't think it's the greatest. Still, I had a good time there, a few drinks were drunk, a few faces I haven't seen for a while. A bit of running defense on the assault Simon was under for being the new boyfriend. I don't know if he my needed my help because he was doing a pretty good job by himself.
Towards the end of the night things went a little haywire. I think that I stayed out too late. I know I was doing some dumb stuff. Oh well. I guess I have an overinflated ego at times.
After I had gone to bed I said some pretty silly things. In the cold hard light of day they were a little bit funny, but mostly just embarassing.
Sunday I managed to get down the coast which was nice. I had a bit of a nap and a bit of a swim. That night I had a roast. It was also great. My run with nice dinners managed to continue all weekend.
This past week at work was fun I think. I dressed like a pirate one day. This consisted of wearing an eye patch. I also managed to have birthday cake on three different days, which is always nice.
I was questioned by the police the other night. There was an explosion near my house and I happened to be walking up to the service station when the 5-0 where scoping the neighborhood. I also had a Choc Macadamia Breaka which was great. I recommend one, although I don't know about having a second one.
I witnessed a flood last night. It wasn't an impressive sight, I was more disheartened by the destruction it caused, and it made me worry about how those whose lives had been affected would be able to retain a state of normalcy and how long that would take.
This week I was also beaten at ten pin bowling. By a girl. I wasn't very happy about this, and I refuse to go bowling with this person again. I will be going bare foot bowling tomorrow, and I'm hoping to regain a bit of respect there. My grandmother is a great bowler, and my grandad was a great bowler, so I'm hoping to be a natural.
I'm at the coast at the moment on my dad's laptop. I'm stealing internet from someone else in the building. Yea, I'm still a badass.

Yay! Robb's blog is back!
Why were you dressed up as a pirate? Arrgghhrrr!
I was dressed like a pirate because it was a fancy dress day of course! Just kidding, it was to help raise some money for the people affected by the cyclone.
