Shock For The Stripes
Today there was some nice news at the centre.
Babies!
There's been a couple of births. One of them was Louise's nephew. His name is Zac. There may be an H on the end of his name. I'm not sure. He was 7 pounds something and a healthy baby boy with a head of hair. Apparently hair causes the mother to have heartburn during the pregnancy. I must have caused my Mum all sorts of troubles then, as I came out with a head of hair that even Sampson would have been proud of. I didn't know until just last year that my mother actually had to spend about 3 months leading up to my birth in hospital. I now blame the hair.
The other birth was to one of the families. They've already got 2 boys, and now they've got 3! They are a very nice family, with a lot of love. There is Naman and Juliette, they are the parents. Their boys are Felix, who used to come to the centre, and Hugo, who is currently at the centre. Hugo's middle name is Kinichi. Apparently Dad really liked a comic who's main protagonist is named Kinichi. Something like that. Hugo is blond haired and blue eyed. The newest addition to their family was born yesterday, they were hoping he would be born on 05/06/07, but it was not to be. They haven't given him a name yet, but I'm sure it will be a good one.
I was talking to Naman today and he said that this will be their last child. He said that he thinks this last one is pretty much perfect and that they can't improve on the work they have done. They want to go out on top.
There was some sad baby news today as well. One of the families was given some bad news. One of the parents siblings has had a baby. This was 7 weeks ago. They found out this week that their newborn has a degenerative neuro disease. The child only has a few weeks to live. This is very sad.
Sometimes life can be very cruel.
