Whoops A Daisy

Considering what a mess I was yesterday I was pretty lucky hangover wise. No serious headaches, no nausea, an ability to eat and finally not being too tired was great. I'm not sure what it was that would have helped me in this regard. I don't know if I had something to eat on the way home, or whether I had a big drink of water to try and limit the dehydration. I think the fact that I still felt kind of drunk at 3 in the afternoon probably helped.

I was able to track down my phone, I'd left it in someone else's pocket. Not sure why. I also found out the movements of the Hulk. He decided to walk home from West End to the Apollo Ferry in Bulimba. He called his girlfriend on the way, saying he was on his way home. When he hadn't arrived an hour later she started to become concerned. Tony informed me that I caught a cab with him home. He said that there was a girl in it with us, and he was hoping that I'd be able to tell her who she was. I can't. He also told me that we found it quite difficult to get a cab on Boundary st. Apparently in order to get one we had to stand in the middle of the road and hail them down. Or maybe we didn't have to, but it was what we did anyway.

The first thing I can remember clearly is Sunday morning. My parents had just arrived home, and they found me standing naked on the balcony. They weren't especially impressed, I'm not too sure what I was doing out there, tackle in hand, but it's the first thing I remember.

I found the clothes I was wearing that night this morning. The shirt had half a tree attached to it. The pants had some grass stains. This fits well with the cuts and grazes that I've got. I've got this nasty bruise on my bum, it's coming up a lovely colour purple. It's painful to touch, but I don't knock it that often, the carpet burn on my elbow is more annoying. As is the cut on my left wrist.

So, yeah, I was pretty fucking boozed. I don't really regret it either. I didn't do anything too dumb. Apparently I was talking a bit of shit and trying to kiss dudes, but that's just like every other day.

Thankfully yesterday wasn't a complete write off. I picked up my phone. Hung out with the girl. Had a huge meal down in West End at that Greek place. Ouzeri. It was fun. I'm pretty sure the extra sleep helped alot.

Can you sit with that bruise on your arse? Do you have to sleep on your stomach or on the side without the bruise?

I can sit pretty comfortably on it now thanks, Lil. If I see you in the next week I'll give you a look. It's a very angry purple. Livid.
